The red of tomatoes, watermelon fuchsia, the orange of the melon, the green of basil: vegetable fruits and fish to buy in season in July are an explosion of colors. July is a month full of fruits and vegetables, while for the fish the seasonal supply narrows slightly. Remain, though, all blue fish like anchovies, sardines, mackerel, Atlantic bonito, fish flag (spatula), aguglie (to do strictly Fried), costardelle, swordfish and it's a perfect month for mussels, clams and clams.

The sea in July offers us a lot of blue fish, rich in Omega 3, but also big fish like swordfish (protagonist of so many SICILIAN RECIPES WITH SWORDFISH) or the amberjack. In the southern regions it's time to flag fish or spatula fish, delicious and versatile. But, especially, July is a perfect month to prepare so many RECIPES WITH MUSSELS, that in July and August are fat, pulpy and tasty.

Some recipes to try with vegetable fruits and seasonal fish in July

With vegetable fruits and fish to buy because of season in July, in addition to the recipes I mentioned before, it is mandatory to put on the table any pasta with clams, from the classic A Spaghetti CLAMS up to the delicious one with Zucchini, VONGOLE AND FRIED BREAD.

If you're planning important dinners, I propose a very choreographic reinterpretation of the traditional appetizer based on MELON HAM AND FIGS.

In addition to garfish FRIES (In this way you can also prepare the constellations), If you find the spatula fish try the 'Silicon fish sticks', that is, FLAG FISH CUTLETS, but also the gluttonous GIRELLE OF SPATULA. Bake and baked.
