Ingredients

4 crunchy organic apples of the type you prefer (Fuji, Stark, Annurche)

40 grams of sugar

15 grams of butter

cinnamon, to taste

star anise, to taste

2 tablespoons Marsala or grappa (or orange juice for children)

The apples cooked in a pan is really ready in an instant. Wash apples. If apples are organic, it is not necessary to peel. Cut them in half, then into quarters. Remove the core and seeds and cut each quarter into further two halves.

Melt the butter in a pan, add sugar and apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and add star anise. Sauté over medium heat until apples are lightly browned on both sides, then add the Marsala or brandy, deglaze and cook the covered apples for 6-8 minutes or until they are kept. Serve the apples cooked in a pan while still hot or warm, with their syrup. Bon appétit!

belle recette aux saveurs de l’automne ( et même un petit goût d’avant de Noël , période pendant laquelle je fais beaucoup de desserts à base de cannelle et d’anis étoilé comme tu sais je suis née en Alsace et ces épices sont très utilisées ainsi que le schnaps !! )
