Fancy sandwich? "Si, but with Asiago, Pears, nuts and honey

A sandwich? Yes a sandwich, but slightly different than usual. And’ made with fresh Asiago, Chestnut honey, walnuts and pears. The cheese I seared on the grill so you get that ' crust’ you see. The result is truly special and is a vegetarian sandwich but without vegetables. Beveteci over a nice cool beer…

Ingredients for 2 sandwiches:

  • 2 rolls with cornmeal
  • 150 grams of fresh asiago Dop
  • half of a PEAR
  • two tablespoons chestnut honey
  • 6 coarsely chopped walnuts

Cut into two sandwiches and warm it slightly in a preheated oven. Cut Asiago into two slices rather high and the PEAR into thin slices, without removing the Peel. Blanch the Asiago on Grill, only on one side and top focus, in order to form the golden crust that you see in the picture and set him down on the bottom half of the bun. Add the PEAR slices, Sprinkle with nuts and then with a generous dollop of chestnut honey. Well, What are you waiting for? Eat it!!!!

THE PAIRING: with this sandwich out of the ordinary we offer a red beer, based on the combination of sweet and sour taste of the sandwich that we find also in beer. The selection goes on in German Keller Pils, Engel brewery, produced with a mix of bitter and aromatic hop. And’ a unfiltered beer, Soft taste.

Thanks Simmy and Consuelo… the only problem is that I like anything is between two slices of bread and I will have to restrain me from continuing in this way extremely dangerous otherwise won't spend more by the doors!!!
