Have you ever tried the Vietnamese? I like very much, I find it light, flavorful, very fresh. It is not easy to eat Oriental food in Italy. But when I want to eat Vietnamese, in Rome there is an address I would recommend. The restaurant is called Mekong, It is located in the area of Furius Camillus. Manage married a Vietnamese and has long lived in that country. We went back last night and I was not disappointed, Indeed I found it even improved.

The menu is vast, but the owner will definitely recommend anyone who has never tried this type of cuisine. Definitely great value for money, whether you order from the paper, whether you prefer to choose one of the tasting menu that will introduce the Vietnamese. I recommend you try the sheets of rice stuffed with shrimps, pork or vegetables. Spinach ravioli alla piastra, Pho soup (wonderful), the spicy rice, rice noodles with beef, which in my opinion are incredible!.

In seconds my favorites are chicken legs caramelized with Mint, the chicken with pineapple peppers and cashews, Caramelized sea bream. I am passionate about this type of cuisine and now I prepare some Vietnamese dish at home, also because it is a very simple, with quick cooking and also quite light. Highly recommended.
